Me again

This morning I woke up feeling like me again. I’ll write more about it later, but right now I am anxious to catch up with my babies, my friends, my piles, my laundry, and all of the other things that heap together and make me, me. I plan on soaking in this beautiful day. Joy in cancer? You betcha.

I have been fighting cancer for over a year now, and while there are certainly times I am weary, there are more times I am joyful. I’ve learned that living a life of happiness and hopefulness is a choice.
I am seeing my oncologist today to check out chest pain at my tumor site and possible growth of the cancer…I’ll be offering up my anxiety as prayers for you.
You are amazing Jen! You have incredible strength, fortitude, love, faithfulness and most of all a wonderful attitude. You go girl! I am praying everyday for you!

You have been my first waking thought more often than not. Please know that we are keeping you, Brad, your parents and sisters, and your sweet daughters in our prayers. I admire your strength, determination and positive mindset…….these attributes will help you win this fight. Enjoy this beautiful day with your family.
Jesus – You ROCK!! Thank you for normalcy. Thank you Lord for mundane beauty…for joy in laundry…for happiness to clean up CHeerios off the floor (again!)…thank you so much Jehovah El Roi for seeing Jen, for knowing exactly what she needed today. You created every cell in her body and you love them to pieces. I thank you for singing extra loud over her today. May you continue to be glorified by every cancer cell killed, in your precious Name. Amen!!! Jen – you go girl! Stay off this computer and sit on the carpet and play. Enjoy! Love, love new friend.
