The love

Jul 16

Tomorrow (Tuesday) is my mom’s surgery.

She blogged about it, so I won’t say much.

I will, however, ask you to pray for her tomorrow!

Today I took the girls over to her house to play.  Greta showed off all of her new words and charged around the house as if she owned it.  She really does have the best self-esteem; she yells, “Good giiiirl!!!”, waits for applause, and looks at you expectantly every five minutes.  Maren booted Greta and I out of the house (we went to the grocery store) so that she and Nana could create an elaborate arts and crafts mailbox project together.  Maren then spent the rest of the day at home playing with it.  (Thanks Mom!)

The normalcy and sweetness of these moments today are not particularly noteworthy.  They are just another reminder that I love my life, I love my family, and I am blessed.  Thanks for remembering us today: it’s great knowing about all the love that is coming at us.  Go get ’em Rozzinator!
